My oldest boys and I went and walked a field today for my oldest sons birthday . He found a little piece not sure what and my second oldest boy found his first point :) those are the first two pics . But I think they were playing more than looking "boys will b boys" haha and so I found some great stuff as well the rest are mine I'm glad they were playing !!! I have no idea what the last piece is it has been hit by the plow

Its cool how you can go and walk a field and find nothing then go back after a good rain and they are just laying rite on top waiting for you to pick them up. If the weather stays good till tomorrow hopefully that is how it will be for me. 8-)

Never mind its pouring now. Guess no hunt after all.

You guy know me pretty good haha I froze today but it was worth it lol

I had no service and if was so cold my phone was shutting off by itself :( thanks rock

Nice finds Painterx, I have never found a plummet in Texas, if it is one, that would be cool.
I noticed all the nicks in the butt end of that piece. Do you think it may have served some life as a hammerstone.? The one thing I've found a lot of thru the years here in Texas were "specialized" looking hammerstones. Especially around large camps. Thanks for showing. Lone Star

I think they used a variety of different types of hammerstones and you could be right thanks for your comments ;)
