took my son to one of the houses we hit yesterday and he got his first silver coin

hes 9 and gets tired of detecting after 10 minutes if he doesnt find anything, but i told him to keep trying, and he got a 1938 canadian quarter, plus a handful of wheats, we totaled 7 silver coins 29 wheats, 1 sterling cub scout ring and old jeep

Nice hunt. I've got little ones like you. They will do 10 min then be bored to insane levels unless I am near a play ground... Tried taking them to a couple of cool old cellar holes thinking that they would have fun exploring but the cell reception was not good enough out in the woods... congrats on all that silver!
