These are my thoughts. In the hope it will bring a lead??
Any toy like this is normally comtempory with the real thing, as children (in this case a girl) would copy her mother.
The flatbed irons were common in the Victorian era (pre1900). However they were still used in my grandparents time (1940s), heated on her rayburn cooker.
They were mainly used before electricity & if it contain lead it was before they realised it was dangerous especially to small kids.
I would therefore guess its 1900-1930??

Cool find Tinny. I wonder if it is a childs though....Many sad irons were made very small for the delicate items, baby clothes, hard to reach places...etc . Its a great find though and I love it!

Tend to think it's real not toy. My ex-wife's mamaw had something similar. Used to do the collars of the deacons shirts. Bye-the-way, love the quick egress mode on the DR-1. lolol HH Stan...
