Found this beautiful trade Ring today. Was totally pumped about finding it in one piece. I found a knife and some kettle scrap also. Hope you guys like it. If anyone else has some knowledge about the marking feel free to tell us about it. thanks for looking!

That is sweet and old looking! Now being I've found a few rings in the last 5 years. Tell me about it .. why its called a trade ring.., made of, etc.. I swear I've never seen one before. And just a wild guess, late 1860s to 80's?

Sorry for my bad discription. It's a Jesuit Ring. It's normal to find them at French sites. I just call it a trade Ring because they would also use them for trade goods. It's 17th century to 18th
 
Found a knife along with a trade ring? I think i know what happened.
