Excellent examples.

The extreme point on image #5 is a great example to show how lethal a simple small "stone" can be.

I have to agree with PP55. The 5th one down shows fine and continuous razor-thin edge work. What is that type?
7th one down looks like fireworks on the blowup.

I love back lighted points. If you ever decide to do a frame, I know how. Pull the foam out. Drill a small hole in the frame. Take a string of LED white Christmas lights, cut the plug off and run it from inside out then put plug back on. punch a knife blade through the foam where you want points and insert a light. Larger points may take two lights. When you get all the lights in place just lay the foam back in and put the points on them.

I’m going to guess #5 is a Hernando. I’ve heard them referred to as “man killers”.
Any of them would be uncomfortable stuck in your rib cage...

Is that all ?...It’s clear it’s a Hernando, followed by a Levy, can’t quite make out the next one, :laughing7: then a Hamilton lookin one, a Hernando cluster one and, Wheew...Next up on the runway are a couple of nice Putnams, named fisheye and pinhead, and last but not by any means least, a point from the family of Levy. ..mighty easy on the eyes, good pics.

I'll go with Citrus on #5 and say the Putnam in #7 is made of my favorite material--agatized coral I believe. Those polyps do look like fireworks. They all are killer finds. Great job too on them all with the backlighting and photography.

When my wife wasn't expecting it I snuck behind her and gently poked the back of her arm with that point. Good thing I ran after I did it.

Thanks antmike915,
I don’t have but a few that have the razor’s edge and glow like yours. Really enjoyed looking at them!
