Treasure Hunter's Field Notebook

Treasure Hunter's Field Notebook, by Mike "Hawkeye" Pickett, 168 pages ISBN 0-9717755-0-8. Buy from Mile at http://www.treasurehuntersuniversity.com
A copy of Mike's personal notebook that he carries in the field. Based on his 35 years research in archives, university libraries, out in the field and anywhere else.

Spanish treasure hunters have explored what is now America for over 300 years. Treasure for the King of Spain. Found, mined, mapped and covered up from site, for return the following year or trip.

But these treasure troves and mines will all be trapped. Death traps. Unless the explorer knows what a particular sign means, and the context of it, most likely he will die uncovering the treasure. So the odd mark on a rock, or graffiti like signs can be interpreted. So you need this book to set you on the right track. Literally. There are a handful of signs of the most importance. The "Death Signs". These signs warn the treasure hunter that a death trap is near. And other signs pointing the way to the treasure are false. Dig there and the mountain caves in. Necessary book for the serious treasure hunter. A+

Dennis,

BB posted the link, he is in Colorado, the website you ordered from is in California, it may be BB has nothing to do with it other than posting the link to the website..... Have you tried contacting the website?

Re: Treasure Hunter's Field Notebook

Dennis,

I took a look at that website an if you ordered the book thru there link it should have used Paypal. If you did pay thru Paypal you can get your money back thru them you just need to contact Paypal an there customer service dept. They will launch an investigation an see if there is a fraud being commited by the user. I would dare say you would more then likely get your money back on both purchases an that the forum folks here need to remove that posting if its a fraud......

That's good advice. Payment by credit card can be easily disputed, as well. Just call your credit card company and provide the facts.

As a general note, this is a huge difference between a credit and debit card!

Good luck to all,

Re: Treasure Hunter's Field Notebook

I bought the book used off Amazon....It is my favorite book to keep in the field with me. It condenses several different books that I have on signs and symbols into one. I thought that this book was out of print though....I will check when I get home...Steve

Re: Treasure Hunter's Field Notebook

CONGRATULATIONS, DENNIS,

MAYBE THERE IS STILL HOPE FOR ME TO GET THE ONE THAT I ORDERED BACK IN MARCH!!
JUST A FEW WEEKS NOW FROM BEING FOUR MONTHS LATE.

IS THIS THE ONE THAT YOU ORIGINALLY ORDERED IN DECEMBER, 2010? ???
I BELIEVE I REMEMBER YOU SAYING THAT YOU ORDERED, A SECOND TIME. DID HE MAKE THAT
RIGHT WITH YOU?

PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I GOT THAT WRONG.

I DON'T KNOW IF I NEED TO BE LONGSUFFERING OR KEEP BEATING HIS DOOR DOWN WITH CALLS AND EMAILS AND COMPLAINTS.

EITHER WAY I'M HAPPY FOR YOU!
