Anyone ever try and do some in depth research into the story of the hidden French gold on Treasure Mountain near Pagosa Springs,Co.?, real or just a good story?

This is yet another cover story that disguises valid information relating to a large cache in that part of Colorado. The cache was/is controlled by the group (whoever they really are) that lately has been identified in popular TH lore as the Knights of the Golden Circle.

That link from Celtic Crusader, as one follows the story and goes further down the page, there is a list of "other" Lost Treasures for all of that area....I would like to hear of the "Lost Treasure and Mine of Simon Turley".....Turley's Mill Massacre....In Taos, in the Old Cemetary, Close to Kit Carson's Grave, some of this is related in a Granite Map...There is alot more to this that I know of, but I would like to hear from other's out there...Thanks....Happy Trails
