It looks like a corn husker's iron.

With the little protrusion as indicated by the red arrow and that shape hook, I am still saying it is a corn husker's iron. Also, it doesn't appear th have any tabs on it that would secure a trigger guard .

I used to have a couple of the hand cranked machines I picked up on an uncle's farm but had to look up other tools. Here is one I found of hand tools.

All the corn huskers I've ever seen were made of flat metal, not cast. Cast wouldn't hold an edge. It sure looks like a broken version of this shotguns trigger guard to me

Maybe. It's missing any method to attach to a stock so it's partial at best.

I found it in front of my house circle driveway.IMG_0727.webpThese other pieces I found in a trash pit way behind my house. Thx for the replies so far. IMG_0721.webp

The shape of this piece has obviously been deformed, bent, or otherwise altered from its original state. Since cast iron is brittle hard and non-malleable, it can't be bent, stretched or hammered into shape. Its weak tensile strength means that it will fracture before it bends or distorts.

It does appear to be part of a triggerguard. It is only the loop around the trigger, both the front and back are missing so the attachment points are gone.

I think I’m seeing a buttplate in your other objects which would boost the argument for trigger guard.

in the other picture you have a left hand lock plate which is most likely going to be from a double barrel shotgun, and a fancy butt plate.
