Trip to the Trinity

Well i went up to the trinity river last weekend and gotta say that theres not much gold up there. True i didn't have much time but it took a while to recover any color, also tried sampling an old river channel, which are all over the place, and a little more gold showed up.

Well i was up near Helena which i heard was pretty good and i guess i should say that i did ok, the best spot that i found was a small flake every other pan. Would like to head back there next summer though it was a beautiful area.

Both but only spent about 10 minutes on the EF

Go to Hobo Gulch(roads end) camp/park and hike and you shall find what ya seek-but you will need a sluice. Work highbar on bedrock in the gulleys and you'll be much happier.tons a au 2 u 2 -John
