Two of my coolest finds ever

[Joshr29]

Found these today while I was out for a couple of hours at my usual place. The axe was about 5 inches down. The trap was only half buried and covered with grass. Luckily it was not set. I don't hardly ever find coins but as far as relics go I thought these were pretty cool.

That trap looks like a coyote trap made by Herters inc made in Waseca Minnesota. Congrates, its in good shape.

Thanks for the info on the trap. I had my neighbor help me set it and it still works perfect. Probably not that old then I guess?

Wow..That is some cool stuff...I know you say you dont find alot of coins , but that stuff you are finding is awesome...Im sure once you get rid of alot of the relics out of the ground, alot more smaller targets will be showing up..Great Finds!

WOW! Good for you it was not set, that would have been hard to get off. The axe is very nice. Keep your eyes on the ground as you hunt. HH
