A british coin I believe and has a lot of detail under the crud. I just don't want to mess it up. Any idea of type and age

I figured it was. I'm usually good at finding out what the rough shape coins I find are but I'm beat from the bay of fundy lobster season!

I know no excuse. Haha I have been slipping out to hunt any chance I get which isn't much.
