Two U.S. Buckles!!!

I really hope it's ok to post these in today's finds, because they were actually found a while back I was in shock when my brother sent me a pic txt of a U.S. oval with all hooks intact Then, not even 15 minutes later he calls me and tells me he's found another, along with a 12" seat saddle shield!!! I am very happy for him!!! Even though I ended up buying them from him I would call that a fantastic day in anyone's book Anyway, I hope no one is upset about me posting these in today's finds...if so, I do apologize. It's just too good of a day of detecting not to post I am posting pictures of the buckles when they were first dug, and pictures of the after I gave them a good cleaning

Your brother had a fantastic day, thanks for sharing. I imagine he must have dug some bullets, buttons, and other relics as well. What type of site were they found on and in what state?

Thanks for saving some more History. The soil must be Great. I looking for a trip to NW,Fla soon I hope to Detect the West Coast looking for Spanish Coins. Just spent 2 days on the Internet looking at the Honduras- then said forget it, its a 42 hour flight.

Thanks everyone again for commenting The thing about the site he was hunting...it was not a CW site....but indian wars period. I have several other relics that came with the buckles...mostly indian wars, that I am posting pics of. The buckles are definitely CW period or earlier though
