Unbelievable axe heads!!!

My friend Lisa called me flipping out. She found a field and found all of these axes in the same area.she found a lifetime worth of artifacts in one day nevwr seen this red material before looks very soft
These last few pics not sure what they are definitely worked and smoothed

you know of course....there is no way she found all there was to find in one day...if i was you i would be there at sunrise tomorrow! that field aint played out.

Does anybody have any thoughts on the light red axe.... The largest one there its at least 5 pounds .... It almost feels and looks like a chalky softer rock I will post a few more pics of it

Yea brick or a walkway stone is the first thing i thought when i saw it...seems way to soft to have been an affective tool. But the fact it's still here today contradicts that

Mac....it wasn't broke until she dropped it getting into her truck ..... As you can imagine her hands were full.... She's very upset about it

Nice finds and story. Id go back if it has just rained and after every rain. Im still finding worked flint in a field I have been walking for a year now. Each time it rains something new pops out.

Almost all of the pieces were found in an area about the size of an acre ... Must have been a small campsite there. Outside the area not much has been found ... Inside there is grinding stones and tools everywhere also only 3or 4 points have been found. I thought there would be more small stuff but maybe it's under the surface still. I will post more pics tomorrow and get close ups of them

is it a farm, a knoll, a stream running by....how about trees?...any trees?

It is a large farm there is a small stream near by however it is about a mile from a larger river that feeds all the way out to the Chesapeake bay, I looked In the stream already and didn't find anything I'm hoping for some more rain and take another look around before they plant the field.

Try not to have your eyes trained to see only big shapes and slow down a little I'm sure there's flint there
