I step onto the beach, tune the excalibur up and hit a quarter first.
I walk 10 feet and a man walks up to me pointing to the white line on his finger and says he lost his wedding band about 20 mins ago right around where I was headed.
I asked him to describe it and told him I will work that area on my next pass when the tide goes lower.
I take a step, get a hit and he's staring hopefully as I pull out a penny.
He looks sad and walks back up to his beachchair while I take another couple steps and hear a nice tone, pinpoint and there in my scoop, for the first time ever is a sweet gold ring.
I look up the beach and he's sitting in his chair looking at me with sadness on his face and I hold up his ring and it shines almost as bright as his face lit up when he saw it!
He and his wife RAN down to me and it had the inscription that he told me in it so I know it was his and he HUGGED me..hehe
There were other people around and they saw this and I got alot of good energy about being there after that although I didnt find anything else but about a dollar in change.
So far thats twice I returned something to the owner and each was of significant value yet I have had no luck for myself. I'm hoping that it will turn around for me soon, I'm doing the right thing and all.

That's great to be able to do that. Even though you didn't find much for yourself atleast you made their day!

I was at the park today detecting and a lady came up to me and told me that she lost her silver bracelette in the park early this morning ~ so I toll her I'd look for it, but I never found it. Someone must have found it before me, or she didn't los it in the park.

Thanks for sharing your story!

Congradulations!! That was a very nice deed you did! Did you ask what year their house was built? HEHEHEHEHE ::)

Hang in there, your ring is coming and when you find it it'll be a whopper!
You did a good deed and you will be rewarded 10 old. HH

Nice find, it is a great feeling to return a find and that carries a lot of karma! HH, Mike

I'd say that you had a lot of luck for yourself as the memory of their happiness is worth as much or more then the value of a goldie that will just sit in your treasure chest gathering dust. Congrats on the great find and return.

Hope you are rewarded tenfold for your good deed. Good luck and thanks for sharing. I always enjoy reading this type of post.

Smiles!
