Had a disappointing hunt until I got to a cherry tree. Found some American coins including a 1969s penny(too corroded to read) and two wheaties. Also, what looks like a silver feather charm thing. All within 2-3 feet of the tree and all different holes.

Sounds like some japanese were doing something near that spot. Maybe a ceremony of some sorts?
