Need help identifying this coin or token.

Very neat find! Did you dig this in the US? It is a Dutch jeton / rechenpfennig of Utrecht circa 1602.

They were counters, would have often been used like poker chips, but seem to have mostly been used on a lined board that operated like a abacus. Value is often limited, but they do have their collectors.
