It looks like a spout to mix two things as they come out!

My first thought was a cigar case top. But I can't explain why it would have an opening at the top :dontknow:

This does appear very similar. Maybe there was a lid inserted in the opening that would have a lighter in it?

Or maybe a cutter of some sort.

I looked at LOADS of these "two finger" or "double" cigar tubes on-line. Not many old ones out there... Some from the 20's & 30's...

Other possibilities would be a humidor or humidifier plug or a ceramic or bakelite figure of some sort (like an animal head) went on the top.

But, as usual, I'm just guessing.

Cutter a good thought. Like you have viewed many pics of these cigar holders, but can't find a match. Still think it's the closest match so far. I like the cigar holders with a flask in one of the cylinders :D
