Unlikely place to find silver

It has been a long time since my last post but this year has been very dry. Silver is scare in my area.

When I go to the grocery store I always check the Coin Star Machine rejected tray to see if there is something there. I never find anything. Last week I went to HEB to buy groceries and as usual I went to the Coin Star Machine. When I was getting closer I noticed that there was a dime in the floor about 2 feet from the coin star machine. I picked it up and to my surprise it was a 1964 Dime (Rosie). I think it was a great find. Not even on the rejected tray but on the floor laying flat. What are the chances?

I'll bet one of these other guys found the reject tray so full of silver they didn't notice dropping the one you found.
The first time I ever checked the reject tray of a coinstar I found two dimes, one was bright, new and shiney, I have no idea why it was there and the other was a silver Rosie. I haven't found another one since. Good eye.

I've only found 1 silver quarter in a coinstar tray which was about 6 years ago

nice find! sometimes when the machine rejects a coin, the coin falls to the tray so hard it flies out of the tray on to the ground...i bet thats what happened here...keep it up and hh!
