I was out today for a few hours.. I've never seen so many pieces of foil in one place... I was finding it everywhere.. I got one good signal and my god it turned out to be a coin I've been dreaming of finding... I've found a few but crusty and mostly too far gone to ID.. Well look how this 321 year old W&M half penny came out of the ground.... I near cried with delight :)

Wow, I would pass out if I ever found something that cool. Congrats to you!

I was close to it :p

I've found a good few of these but never one I could even get a clear pic of... I'm still gobsmacked at this one

Always amazed at the things T-NET'ers find, wow :notworthy: BTW Mr. Joe, I loved to see your use of the term "gobsmacked" My Father's family were County Clare Irish and since most all of my elders have passed, I don't get to hear that term anymore...are you of Irish decent?

About as good as you could hope for, bearing in mind its a pretty scarce coin to dig, congrats!

Great coin! Congratulations and good luck on your next hunt!

Nice! I dug one here in PA last year or the year before but it wasn't half as nice as yours. The detail left on your coin is sweet.
