Went by the local pawn shop and the stones are real...not worth a fortune but much better than CZs...not sending this one to ARA...see if I can find a buyer, maybe E Bay.

Wow - that's really hard to believe, I've found a lot of 10K's with rocks and they have all been CZ'z - Congrats!!! ARA is probably still gonna be your best bet, sadly.

Yeah, I know that unless the diamonds are really big that its hard to get more than scrap value...pawn shop offered 70% of what ARA would pay...Im not going to sell it for scrap though.

That's awesome! Get the best deal you can or just wear it yourself. I like to wear some of my gold rings Ive found when I go out MD'ing. Seems to bring me more rings. Congrats on the real diamonds!

I keep the gold rings that I feel are just too nice to melt down...gives me something to show people when they ask about my metal detecting...Ive got all the silver Ive ever found except for a couple of rings I sold and gave away.

If you haven't done so already, have someone polish the ring[ Pawn shop probably can ] to bring out the gold luster & remove any scratches. It will look like new, then, & only cost a little. It will make it bring much more money.
