** UPDATED ** I Suppose Now I'll Have To Give It Back !!
well if you remember from a thread a few days ago I found a 1907 I.H. and couldn't wait to get my new 9x12 coil on my Ace 250 and head back to a school that had closed up when I was still in 1st grade ( 1970 ). today i finally got back over there and of course didn't really find anything huge but i did find a 10K ring with the initial "DOZ". Wouldn't you know there was a kid who lived right next door to the school with those very initials - BUMMER !! I suppose i will try to get a hold of him and see if his middle name starts with an "O". he must of lost it when he was rather young judging by the size - i could barely get it on my pinky !!!

i did find a 1942 wheatie there also - note the scratches were not done by me or my toothbrush !!

then i went to a couple other places and really just found junk and a bunch of pennies

well thanks for looking and have a Great Day ( or night! )

Good luck on your endeavors.
He already said it was not his. If his father is alive he should be able to remember if he lost a gold ring during his lifetime!!!<If you told the son the details already it will probably turn out to be his dad's either way! I am not saying it is not his fathers, just that if his dad is alive he should remember!
