Tony Carlotto wrote the book..."Copper Coins of Vermont". He owns a camera shop about 20 miles from me. He is also a member of C-4, Colonial Coin Collector's Club. I am also a member of this club. He is VERY good at cleaning coins without damaging or taking away value. He also weighs, measures, and records where I found them for his research. He does this all for nothing, and will not accept any $ from me. I've tried several times. This is his passion. He loves State Coppers, and there is always the possibility of discovering a new die variety. He likes when I bring Connecticuts to him! He was also instrumental in helping me sell my 1783 CFT KG III. GREAT guy!

that coin turned out to be a beauty !!!!
YES it did! In the past 2 years I've only seen 1 other Vermont Landscape Copper posted, besides the 2 I found. Evolution found the other. Normally they are very worn and the ground doesn't help the detail. Evolution and I, were fotunate enough, to find Vermonts that were in a high grade state, and lost while still in UNC or AU condition. This one is going to a C-4 member, who is a professor at Penn St. University. He is going to find a buyer for me.
