- Presently using Deus 2's & have Minelabs, Nokta's Tesoro's DEus's Have them all . Have WAY to many need to get rid of some

Cool! But, do you have to have a compass to use lodestone as a compass?

No, you only need the compass one time, so that you can mark the north direction on the lodestone. Since opposite poles attract ,the part of the lodestone that gets attracted to the south side of your compass is the north side of the lodestone.
I had 2 I Bought many many years ago.
When I lived on the Mountain. No idea If I Grabbed them or Not
