Burdie said they found 78 more votes that weren't counted. They will determine who really won Friday so he's still in the game and if it's some votes from around Uvalde...well, he possibly could win this thing after all. Cross your fingers, it ain't over til the fat lady sings!!!!!

I'm still on crutches with my sciatica, but I just put on a batch of hamhocks and Navy beans and a fresh homemade peach pie in the oven. Y'all come on over for supper. Bring the kids! I'll fry up some nice taters and make some corn muffins. Chop up a little cole slaw for backup and a couple of slices of vidalia onion for a little spice. And wash that down with a jug of iced tea. After supper a mug of hot coffee and a big slice of that peach pie. Oh, in case no one knew, cooking is my favorite hobby next to metal detecting. Monty

longer get together for a week. i have hesitated

in the past to do heavy driving for an event that

is only 1.5 to 2 days long. its still pretty far off

on the calendar by my reconing.

how soon is the deadline for saying if u can come or not
