Not sure reservations for camping/rv is required,but with another group coming in it might be smart to go ahead and reserve anyway.

Now I'm confused.I thought you had it 52 - two days ago?MG,you gotta make your coffee just a wee stronger,I think.Since this may be my last group hunt(gettin' too old for this),I don't want to miss it.

OOOPs instead of subtracting I just kept it the same ....

51 !

Just got the following email from Ed in Uvalde;

Have not been able to reach Cecil yet. However, Joanne has secured permission to hunt the 5 Oaks Ranch. This ranch has Nueces River frontage and is out Highway 55. It's owned by absentee owners who won't be at the ranch until November.
The photographer that Joanne uses stays on the place. I don't have contact info as yet--Joanne is getting that.
You guys should have plenty of acreage to explore.
Ed
A place on the Nueces River should be great.Ed says a lot should be able to be found along/in the river.

As far as cabins at "Neal's" go, I have #13 reserved from Sat 16 thru Thurs night.
We plan to have 4 of the original Six-Pack in residence. :icon_thumright:

How long is everyone else planning on staying?!?

.......HELLO EVERYONE......I just registered and plan on attending on Oct. 16th.......Sorry but I do not know the majority that are going to this hunt.....although I do know Baggins and Texas Connection....I met them last year ......about 20 miles south of San Antonio....we were all involved in one of the searches for the Lost Battlefield of Medina........that Battlesite at least for the time being is still lost.......but i like these types of outings........I live about 35 miles northeast of Houston so I am a lot closer to the Uvalde site that most........I have been treasure hunting using a detector since 1970....been bottle hunting even longer than that.......looking forward to meeting everyone...............Thanks ....Joe

Welcome Joe. Glad you can make it.
It's always good to meet new treasure hunters!!

Glad to have you Joe.

Cyber and all.You say your reservations start on the 16th.Ouch!The meeting will be the evening of the 15th!That's when directions will be given.Guess we could meet on the volley ball court early,early the morning of the 16th or outside my cabin(#15).We'll be 30-45 min away from the first site and I know several will want to eat breakfast first(Nana & Judie).This is your hunt,I just was the contact to find a place(s).You tell me when you want to get together for directions and what time you want me to tell the landowner that we will arrive on the morning of the 16th.Ok,what's it to be?

Driving 1000 miles is the only issue for me. I can start out earlier if need be, and I'll check with Bobby and whoever else is catching a ride with us to see if they can too.
