I'm with you Sniff! I was sitting here and looked at my watch and saw the date. Darn I wanted to make this hunt! I will darn sure make it next year if I can walk by then! Oh just to let you know. My new Doc found some medicine that really helps my breathing and I can do a lot better now. You won't have to drag me around like last time! Monty

Day one was great. The location was picture perfect. Some finds for me and I will let everyone else chime in on theirs. Mostly spent ammunition casings. It was on the Dry Frio that was anything but.

If you had to spend the day and not find a whole lot that was the place to do it. Seems like everyone is having a good time.

Hey y'all, it's been a pretty exciting couple of days round here....tons of coins have been found, along with some other neat finds...speaking of neat finds, BEF and Cyber had a run in with a not so friendly local, and was touch and go for a bit, but they ended up making him see things their way, and even came to dinner! I'll let Bobby post some pics and story about all of that....for being on her first ever metal detecting trip, Erika has been doing great! She's awesome at eyeball finds, and has been helping me dig, and scan for finds....I'll post some pics as soon as I have better service......

UPDATE FROM UVALDE!!!!!!! THERE ISN'T ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here it is, almost sunset on Sunday. No new updates, stories, lies or pictures. They did not even to post the newest truth. I think those of us that wanted to go but couldn't have now been officially forgotten. That is until the Uvalde gang gets back and remembers who was wishing them well and hoping they had a great time and safe travels.

That's OK, been kicked to the curb before, they know me there.

Some miscellaneous hunt photos from Uvalde. Today we were on a 2200 acre ranch with both standing and fallen housing. Foundations, yards, Frio river ( no one went there) and lots of open territory.

I don't have any cheese to provide with all the whining that's taking place, but maybe this will hold you off till someone who is a real photographer (e.g. Bridge End Farm posts).

I didn't find anything real good, but silver, gold, old coins, relics and arrowheads were found...just not by me ...and the hunt is still going on, of course. Hopefully TC and Borninok will get the hookah going in the hole and find some bling. The place they're hunting the next few days sounds great too...wish I could be there
