OK, Glad that you lucky Uvalde hunters were listening when we (I) said that more updates with pictures were needed.

Now if only I was on the computer at home, I could see the pictures!

Sorry for the whining, but the cheese was good. I really wanted to be there, but maybe next year.

Oh man! That's my kind of country! Loved the photos and I see many of my old friends and acquaintances there! I sure wanted to make this hunt and darn I hate missing the fun. Thanks for letting us " didn't make its" in on your good times. I am planning on visiting my daughter in the Austin area at Thanksgiving. The area out west of their home looks a lot like that. Looks like you had great weather too. That stream looks like a neat swimming hole and I'll bet the water is cold even when the weather is hot? Keep the pics coming and glad everyone is having a good time. Monty

Here's a few from the meeting on Friday night. I won't go thru the names as you probably know them by now.

btw - B.I.T and I missed the group photo because I was dumb. We were in the Frio when the meeting was going on (wsd had told me about it, but I just plain missed that bit of info ).

Just got back a couple of hours ago and haven't had time to do the dishes yet (I want them to be cleaned up for the camera) Like Beep I really want to thank Warsawdaddy for organizing a fantastic hunt (and to RiverRat). Thanks to TheBeepGoesOn for recording the hunt with pictures. I was bent over most of the time looking through a pile of dirt. Great Pictures.

I had a great time and had some quality time with some quality people. It was a hunt I won't soon forget (my legs still hurt from following TexasConnection up the side of that darn mountain in search of silver).

Thanks to TexasConnection (mostly Mrs. TexasConnection) for the great food at the birthday party.

When is the next one? I am cleaned up and ready to go again.

My fork set

Need some knives with those forks.

Bullet casings and a tent peg. Not sure what the three pronged thing is, it is made of copper though.

Once again a great hunt.

I'm here!! Gosh, today was a day...I mean those 8 hrs hunting artifacts is totally awesome. The 5 Oaks Ranch is a piece of Heaven, the whole area is gorgeous. Y'all will have to wait till I get home to post pics.

I just can't handle this laptop...but if it wasn't for BillUSA I wouldn't be on.

It will be next Oct. alot of the people you met at this hunt will be there...... and some you've not met yet! Go to the CTH hunts an the LBH (Lousianna hunt) an JD in MS hunt an see what you think!

This year will be the cattle drive again BINGO on main street. RR getting arrested ? Just let us know what you think after you take a gander at those Hhehehe !

Thanks MG I would definitely like to make it.

I still have 2 to 3 hours of video from a helmet cam that was mounted to my detector. Naturally, a lot of it is not something you would want to watch because of the swinging back and forth, but there is some decent footage every once in a while. If I get it edited down I will post it.

Oh, I meant to ask....what was the local all upset about? Glad you were able to win him over. So many people are so strange about MDing. They seem to think we are taking something away from them personally if we dig something of value up. It is usually something that will rot away with time and be gone forever. I just don't understand that way of thinking. Still in mourning because I didn't get to make the trip. And I'll tell you from experience, Albert (TC) can out hunt just about anyone I know. I would like to have been there just for the scenery and as I said, I love that country. Monty
