Say OR, were those coins old ones or contemporary? Several people said they found coins but didn't really describe them. Very interesting , and what's behind the find of the coffin handle? I'm sure that's a good story. Not trying to be nosy, just trying to absorb some of the pleasure of the hunt vicariously since I didn't get to make it. Monty

If I kept and photoed all the junk finds I'd have had to start my own thread........ "UVALDE 2 : My Crap".
My clad finds comprised no significant silver. The oldest were a couple dimes and a quarter from 1965......... so close!

I just got this email from ron at 5 Oaks -

Hi Ron,
I hope everyone had a good time and got home safe.
I don't remember who found it but there was a $1 token and I don't
know if it was found near the house or the corrals but I asked around to
see if anyone knew what is was and it is a token given to sheep shearing
crews every time they sheared a sheep and at the end of the day they would
turn it in for their pay. Also here is a copy of the group photo.
So happy hunting and see you next time.

In my soapbox rant above... ....I totally forgot to mention Noodle and Dan's contribution in putting on the LBH......sorry, that was inadvertant. You know how I am when I get on my soapbox..... Although, I found out on this hunt that I can't even begin to compare to Cybercop's soapbox......WOW....LOL You all missed some VERY stimulating conversation. Although, I have to admit there was a close runner-up in the group...LOL

Gypsy, if you are out there.....Lordy, we really missed your stimulating presence..... Although, I have to admit that our newest member Erika really kept things lively. Hats off to Erika in keeping tabs on Baggin's whereabouts....LOL

OR, those are some good pics. It was really great getting to meet you and your wife. Sure hope you get to make it to the next CTH.......trust me, you will love it.
