:( Took a little trip to some west MI beach towns Aug 4th and 5th for some R&R. My warden...er...wife allowed (thanks honey) me to MD early mornings at some public beaches. A short time into my first hunt, a local advised me that there was a MD club in the area that hit these beaches en mass regularly. Crap! Oh well, never the less I truged on. After a couple of 2-3 hour morning hunts, here are the totals:
10 Quarters
11 Nickles
19 dimes
23 pennys
4 toy cars
1 1 1/2 oz sinker
1 childs earing
1 925 silver toe ring

On a side note: I am truly amazed at the ammount of trash that people leave on these beautiful beaches! There must be tons of cigarette butts, bottle caps, candy wrappers, juice boxes and foil. What are we teaching our kids when parents allow all this garbage to be left behind? Sorry, off the soap box.

Oh yeah, I should mention that I saw the silver toe ring in one of the tourist shops going for about $8.00
Big whoop eh? ::)

Might not be a heavy ring, but it's yours now. WTG
