VDI DOES NOT WORK

ANYONE TELL ME WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM WITH MY IDX PRO. THE DISPLAY DOES NOT WORK. JUST A FAINT BOX ON THE FAR LEFT OF THE DISPLAY. DETECTOR STILL WORKS AN FINDS COINS. NEW BATTERIES ALSO. JUST DOES NOT TELL ME WHAT KIND. WORKED FINE YESTERDAY. TOOK IT OUT OF MY BAG AND NO DISPLAY.

Your White's has to go in for repair to the motherboard. Maybe just a solder connection broke.

Hey PokerDad911,

Try to do a hard reboot. That is to say, power it up, open back door of detector, remove battery pack for about 20 to 30 seconds, install battery pack and fire it up again. See if that works. Otherwise, send it in as Sandman suggests.
