Venus, Mars and the Cresent Moon

Been watching the waxing moon for the last 3 mornings bracketing the Solstice . Venus and Mars are bright and clear and in line to the moon and appear to be closer the Earth then normal. Toward the end of August there will be a full Moon With Venus and Mars again in close proximity. Anyone else been following this?

I love to sky watch and always keep track of the moon phases. Today is the new moon.

On the 7th there was a full moon. It seemed like it was too far away. It was very small. I have been here for 32 years and the moon is always larger when it comes up in the East.
