Got out this morning to the Colonial Site I have been
picking away at.

Corner of decorative brass buckle frame
2 Brass flat buttons
Silver gilted flat button
2 Piece Flower button
1776 Vlack 6-76A NYC Atlee Imitation Halfpenny
Looks to be holed for button use
1788 Bressett 13-L / RR 19 Bust right - VT Copper

Good hunt! Any state copper is a gooder!
 

Those coppers sometimes come out of the ground so bad.....lets hope the next one is in nicer shape......Nice job!

Great ole coins! I'm surprised you can actually read the 1776 date, usually coins with wear like that don't have much left too see, or at least the last digit is unclear.

I'd keep hunting that spot!

The 177 was clear at the site. After clean up, the 6 was pretty obvious.

That is my second readable 1776. The last one come from a house across
the street. I have been VERY luck in getting readable dates, I know. Thanks.
Out of the twelve I have found, only 3 were unreadable.
And, yes, I will be all over that site for quite awhile. T
 

You're a friggin' COPPER MAGNET Ty.....Great job on some early copper's bud.Got to be more there and knowing you,you'll sniff every one of those babie's out. :notworthy:
