Detector(s) used
Nox 800 AT Max, Mine lab se pro/ Teknetics 7500 / teknetics 8000 / fisher m-scope (aquanut) 1280x/2ea compass relic magnum 6 /compass yukon 77b (professional) /compass yukon 71b
I decided to go to the hammered old high school area where old houses use to stand. Didn't find much at first but a lot of uncovered holes, that I covered, from some other mdist. Then I got a very good deep signal on my mine lab SE pro. The hole was at least a foot deep when I discovered the reading moved to the dirt beside the hole. It turned out to be a large dirt covered disc that I thought was probably another piece of junk like I found many a time in this area. But I felt the weight an saw the reeded edge (1880 S Morgan) and said " yes I probably just found the best find of the year for this year"! Then I found the piece of ster. ring with a turquoise stone and then a while later found a Gerber flik lying in the grass. The final find was the modern dollar coin. Thanks for looking!!! Best day detecting in a while!

Wow, great find ... congrats

Wow, what a great find. Truely awesome. I went back to a park I was MDing one day and I saw where some of my plugs from the day before were laying next to the holes.
A guy that I see at this park all the time, said he watched crows pulling my plugs out of the holes and looking inside for worms, or what ever they were eating. Now I am more carefull when digging plugs.

What a great day of detecting! Large silver, the gerber, the pin. WTG!
