You'll find those types right up to late 1700s/early 1800s sites. It's a good sign! :thumbsup:

its a six leaf flower pattern, agree with others more likely late 18th C :icon_thumright: Keep looking in that area
 

hopefully a gold coin, but who knows, thats why i dig all the pulltab and nickel signals. i'm looking for a gold coin.
