Victorian Costume Jewelry Ring, Suspender & 1888 V Nickel

Hit my old reliable woods today. No great old coins, but did come up with a Victorian costume ring, which I think is made of brass. Ring has an amber glass center with a gold rose painted on it. Also found a Victorian suspender with a green glass center, a V nickel, which I think is dated 1888, and an unusual item, which appears to be some kind of winding tool.
