Victorian Silver Cane

I've been looking for one of these for awhile. The funny thing is it was staring right at me while I was sorting through a jewelry table at a garage sale. I think its Victorian or Art Nouveau. I wonder who G. Paulson from Staten Island was?

No the bottom has a brass piece at the end.
