Last Tuesday Freak, Dave, and I met up with Bjeep for a get together.. I had a blast, found several pieces of lead, and several things I have never seen...
here is some of the lead.

I did get a scabbard tip and a lol merry widows lid...
Here is the eagle plate.. its a tad bigger than a Washington quarter.

I also found a buckle that might have been attached to it..

I have been told this is possibly part of a spur, or a sword belt.. not sure..

You guys did good. :thumbsup:
I roamed around Fort Towson looking for ammonites, they throw them in the mudholes. :dontknow:, that was before I started detecting.
My buddy found a childs belt buckle that belonged to the ranch owner when he was a child, we were just East of the fort, also found a 'draft horse' shoe from the stable area, lots of history around there. :thumbsup:
