Very nice token. May be even nicer as it looks like it was minted missing a Y in Maryland. Very cool. I think it should be Virginia Maryland Coal Corp.

Tokencatalog.com has a good for 5 token listed. It has Maryland spelled correctly! Your's might be pretty rare. I'm still wondering if it's "good for 1 cent" or "good for one dollar", or maybe something else

I can't find anything that would tell me the value of it. The fact that I had to submit it would lead me to believe it has to be pretty rare. Any help or ballpark valuation would be great
