Thanks. I finally did get it , but failed to let everyone know. Again KG for the help. It is true what you said though that the solves are easy we just tend to get a little impatient to get through them or can't see the forest for the trees. HH, Carol

I have been going back and reworking each puzzle to ingrain the details into my head. I think at our final destination attention to detail is going to be a key factor in this hunt.
We know the Volvo is buried....there are clues in the commercial...has anyone else noticed them....

First thing I noticed when I saw the commercial for the first time, aside from the sweet blacked out Volvo! Heh, heh...

I agree with you . While waiting for the next island I've been going through each one . I haven't looked as closely at the commercial as maybe I should come to think of it . I also think the clues the narorater is giving us on the islands has more to them . I also have been keeping track of the things on the islands we didn't need in order to solve the coords. Carol

Correct.....One thing is that We also are saving things that we are finding when they dont seem to fit anywhere else .....prime example is that W in the middle of the serpent wall.....navigational directions and hidden words that we havent seemed to use yet.....

another thing to besides the internet puzzle is the promo for the movies i have seen all have litle bits from the online hunt, for an example they show jack strapped to a tree withe eyes painted on his face like the clue card we use, they show a dense forest, and the beaches similar to the ones we have seen on the hunt. I bet the last part will be figuring out how to open a treasure cheast or something. gypsi and I are on isla blah blah blah after cozumel. anyone need help getting there pm me and Ill help you in the right direction!

caro things its so true that its so simple after you find it and realise you over thought it. thats what i did the first few clues but then I was like Im just gonna do the dumb first thing i think of LOL its working so far.

anyone who lives in the bahamas or carribean and knows where this puppy is buried maybe wanna give the exact GPS cords? ...... making me thing maybe the cords they give on the hunt are the cooords for the real thing....

checking google earth to see where all these cords are..... LOL

actually they are real cords, and they for the most part will lead to where its burried, the one place disney would be king of the land and be able to do what they wish.. for a few people to know the island is owned by disney, not only for making the movie is it a good thing, but for hidding the treasure...but where on the island would the 4 autos be?? in truth there are 4, and they can be found if you look at the map versus the real map of the real isle...alittle something i picked up...

There just might be four Volvos buried....due to the fact that different countries aere searching on different clues boards.
After a search ofwhere Walt Disney has their asset holdings, I also see that they own Castaway Cay Island in the Bahamas.
Cool deal ,since they did film there and would make sense to bury something on Amercian owned property. Which is why people from the bahamas are not allowed to enter the contest.
KGBSeeker and I have found our way to Port Royal and are waiting for the next clue on the 12th which will allow us to finish the contest. Our next destination will be digging that Volvo up!!!!!!!

we are actually gett ing a clue today to enter the finals. keep an eye out for that clue!!! the finals are tomarrow at 2pm!!! that would be great if they really had $ VV then we wouldint have to bury the winner up to their head in sand and let the crabs get em AARRRGGG!!!

I also found out its not where some people have pretended it was LOL but it was fun to think they may have beeen telling the truth.
