How about some pics of all those history rich finds my fellow hunters!!! (I'll post pics of my 'prizes' after the 'finds' are)

Here's mine -

highlights = 9 quarters (backside painted red on one?!), 15 dimes, one 1951D wheatie, one 1969 half-dollar and a Chevy Nomad

I didn't post a pic of my pulltabs...... TNet doesn't have enough bandwidth to support something that big!!!!!!! :P

here are my finds, like cyber don't want to post over 120 pull tabs and close to 30 bottle caps, and the small pick up load of scrap metal/aluminum

best find for me was the 1851 large cent

bullets are all on the right.

Good to meet you and the wife cop. Do you know if there were any buffalos found on Sunday? Glad you guys are home safe. Cheers, Shane

Good to meet you too!
And nope, don't know about anyone corralling one of those elusive Buffalos on Sunday. Bridge, Baggins and Scuba were still looking when we left tho.

It was great to meet you and the Mrs. this weekend - a great time for all... :)

I believe that Baggins and Shiloh each dug one of the infamous "Buffa-no's"... ;D

Here are some of my finds, and will post pics of my prizes in a bit.....I found a total of $10.72 in clad, and a total of 234 coins.....some of my oldest pennies were a '46 wheat, '59,'62,'63,'64,'66,'68, and a '70...also found one of the Buffalo nickels....Of course I also found a couple of zipper pulls, and battery terminal, jeans rivet, a small children's' ring, and a frame from some glasses....found a couple of water type filters for a diesel, and an air cleaner top from what looks like an Oldsmobile...Also, Buster says hello to all, and was very sad he could not make the hunt!

Here are my prizes from the Florida hunt:
The first was a headlight for nite hunting ( of which the only people who nite hunted were Scrounger, myself, and Shiloh...the "hardcore" hunters!) Next, was this cool hat, for finding one of the hidden Buffalo nickels. I also won a Buffalo nickel, a great 1899 New Orleans minted Morgan Silver dollar, an 1860 San Fran minted Seated Liberty Half dollar, a very cool Bowie knife, and for guessing the mystery guess correctly, Buster and I got a great camping tent for our next hunt! I want to thank all of the people who took the time to donate all of the great prizes, this was an awesome hunt! Tons of great times, food, and as always, great people! Will be posting some random pics from the hunt later today!

Baggins,
Look at all the coins you dug up....You're bad to the bone!! How did your knees and wrist hold up to all that power digging?? Good job!

Steve ;D

I'll tell you what Juan, that soil in Florida is like digging in butter, not like the concrete we have here in Texas! My back was pretty sore after all that hunting though! Missed you at the hunt, hope to see you real soon!

You were definitely a clad magnet! Sheesh why not the buffalos? lol It was SO good to finally get the chance to meet you and others there and I have to say that is one sexy sexy hat! lol You and Shiloh wear them with pride because none of the rest managed to find any of them.....ScubaBob and Bobby and I left last and still no others found.....sheesh, those are some truly elusive animals!!

Good job Cyn........ I knew you'd solve the riddle of the GBC......

I have to say that is one sexy sexy hat!
