We have very few hummers this year for some reason. Feeders out...just no birds. Gary

If I had a way to do it, I'd send ya a dozen or so. We have a number
of hummers that hang around all winter, and they usually go through
a pint bottle about once a week. At the moment, we are refilling our feeder
almost daily.

It's going to be way too hot for me to get any yardwork done tomorrow,
so thinking I'll set up my Nikon and try to catch a few in-flight.

We seem to have a few this year that are sticking around. Have 3 feeders up in the yard garden, they are quick trying to get a decent photo of one. I guess I'll have to also get a little time to set up the camera to get a close up.

We made a border of walkers low around the vegetable garden fence and the hummingbirds really like them..

Mike. Yes I really enjoy seeing how quickly these birds fly and also sit on the porch and try to video them..My wife last year had Zinnias flowers on the porch and they attract them

I harvested catnip from an old abandoned homestead and that plant, from old, old stock, is pungent! I brought some in for the cats and Smoke, the 18 year old got high as a kite last night. His eyes were even tearing up. He had a great time. And I stuck some in their "flippity fish" toy and the games were on!

Smokey. The cats really seem to like these for sure..
The plants make a very nice border and are good for keeping weeds down..
