war nickels?

True I believe the first 8 months or so of 42 it was the copper nickel. Just check the back of 42 for the mint mark above the Monticello.
 

I just picked up a whitman jefferson nickle folder - 38 to 64 or somthing like that.

It contain 9 war nickles, and only missing about 5 other nickles. All for 15 bucks! LJR coins in Burien WA, I like the owner, Paul.
 

Not meaning to correct you but their is a spot for 11 War Nickels in the album. Good Luck. Dennis.
 

They are my first was nickles too. I'll post a pic of the open folder soon.
 

Just got a 45 in pocket change today! Its a good day.
 

Some 1944's were known as henning nickels which were counterfiet. Those had no mint marks above the building.
