Warranted Superior Button!!

I found this button last night at an old 1850's house, does anybody have any info?? I think it may be pewter but i'm not sure!! I found the nickle as well but added it for size. Thanks, Mace

Even though don beat me to it here you go- Eagle 1860's Hand Saw Disc: These are the ones that so often are misidentified as a button when shaft is missing. Actually they were mounted on handsaws of the period. Marked "Warranted Superior" with a droop wing eagle.
