🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Watch winder or something else

Had this a few years and never really knew its exact purpose , found in civil war camp and colonial homesite area. Someone said it could be a casket key. I cant find a match that looks like this on the end

Need to see end of this key ! If it is a square hole in it about 1/4 X 1/4 inch , Id say it is for winding a clock ! I have a bunch of these !

It doesnt look clean I don't think, I figured it was to small and thin for a spur but I may be wrong

I think its an antique clock winding key. It seems too stout to be a watch key..
