Hunted after work thursday and friday with BadJim, then got out almost all of saturday with Terry Everly. Thursday hit a couple places, got a silver rosie, wheats, token that says T. W. & I. Co. vintage costume ring, and small religious medallion.

Friday Jim and I hunted around a torn down 1 room school, found a nice 1864 indian, that was it, then we knocked at a farm and got permission, got a couple wheats, worn buffalo and the huge skeleton key.

Saturday hunted some old farms with T. Everly, got 2 silver Washington's, 1 merc, ton of wheats, 1880, and 1904 indians, another vintage ring, thimble, and a pretty nice 1865 2 center. Out of all the wheats, only one decent date...1909 VDB....Perfect hunting weather, was great to get out with good friends!

I am in Ohio, it shows that beside my user name..lol.....and when I say farms, I mean around older still standing farm houses, they are my FAVORITE spot to hunt. They are awesome for old coins and relics

Congrats on a great hunts.

the 2 center came in on my etrac at 15-41....classic wheat penny signal, it was 4" deep. Some people skip wheat signals....I tell them when they do they are missing barber, seated dimes, 2 centers...worn mercs...some old large coppers...etc....

Thanks g4e, I dig them wheatie numbers and allot of times they end up being worn dimes but a few small sterling religious medallions too.

Anyone would consider those hunts VERY successful Terry!!! Those old clock winding keys are always cool finds. HH, Quindy.

great hunt G4, your persistance pays off.....GG from an OHIO man
