Finding decent copper coins in our soil is a find all to itself. Out of 60+ wheaties this year, only 3 have a nice even Patina to them. I found this today along with a few others, but this gets my "Best Wheatie" award. Nice and even Patina with little flaking. 1919-S found @ approx 8" in 2nd oldest city park in P-town. Just thought I would share ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D

Wow, looks exactly like the 1919-s I found recently. I consider any wheatie a good find!

Nice coin and petina. Well done.

yes wheaties a good --not as good as silver --or even better gold ---but good because if your where you find 1919 s wheaties you are where you can find "other" 1919 era coins---which are SILVER DIME,SILVER QUARTERS AND HALVES AND EVEN GOLD COINS---so yes wheaties are good ---plus I just like all the old coins---Ivan

:D Congrats...... I'd love to start my mornings off with a 1919 every day!

I consider it a failed trip if I don't find at least one wheat cent.
I just wish here in Kentucky I could find more S mint marks.
