Went looking for a lost ring that was lost on July 3 200-300 yards from high water Mark in waist deep water wasn't able to find it but did find a different 14k gold ring

Cool...I found a 6 gram 14k cross looking for a ladies earring once...my friend found her earring a few minutes later.

That's a very nice reward for looking! Your tide changes so much up there it is unreal, the few times I have been North it was a difference of 8 foot drop in a few hours..

It does move alot in areas OBN some areas up here the tide moves 300-400 unfortunately this is one of those beaches

Very cool! 3 years ago I was detecting a field next to a gas station/car wash. There was a house that used to sit in one of the corners of the field and I drive by the area every day so I finally decided it was time to give it a try. I managed some coins and a few relecs...coolest thing was a token for one loaf of bread, hexagon shaped and brass/copper.
While I was working, some dude walked out to talk and told me about the wedding ring with ice he lost in a park a couple years back. He explained the area very well and told me how he threw the ring as he spied on his wife cheating on him.
I went out and gave it several hours and found a tiny 18K gold ring and a 1960 rosie, not his ring! I tried to find his ring on two more occasions, never found it.
