well i got out for a few min's today with one of my friends who has never md before so i let him use my back up detector i only found iron but he comes running over doin the happy dance and he had a 1913 barber dime hes hooked now

Very nice, let me guess, He's hooked and going to get a detector of his own? Been there myself, LOL. My first outing was with a friend of mines back up detector and I found silver on the first day. I can say I was hooked and had a detector soon after and just finally got my second! Show him the ropes.
