I went and passed the park I hunt, it’s the same park where I found my US Civil War Kepi Hat Badge Stamped Brass Infantry Horn Uniform Insignia Pin next to the river about a foot down IMG_0171.jpg IMG_0172.jpg
So anyway I saw a excavator scooping up dirt along side the river they’re putting in a launching are the the people that canoe. I went to speak with the guy and asked him where they where bring the dirt? He wasn’t sure but after speaking with him for a while he wanted to help me out so I gave him my detecting card and told him to call me when he finds out. I saw so white and blue shards I got excited. We they left I took my pin-pointer and poked the mound and found some bullets, American Flag pin, rusty scissors, a 69 thing, something with a little gold gilt and a whatisit. I hope he calls. Also this is my 3 Colt 44 cal pistol bullet in a week at different places. Weird. Thanks for looking!! Nice finds Truth but I think I would agree with Thrifty76. You have the opportunity to look thru it now, and you have no idea where it will be hauled away to, and what they will use it for. They may send it thru a pulverizing machine etc. They may haul it to private property where you will not be able to gain access. I'd get back there now, while you can.

They are probably looking for a place to dump the dirt.
Have them dump it in your driveway!!
That’s probably an old dump they are digging in.

Just went over there and got the name of the Company that’s doing the work gonna call them and ask permission to go to the place they’re dumping.

Spots are getting dry so sometimes you gotta think outside the box. Wish me luck.

First thing I thought of was a plumb bob on the whatsit. Google it, theres some beauties.
The 69 might be a yin yang thing. Means you're in balance and harmony with things. Good sign. Screenshot_20190116-184435_Chrome.jpg

I would try to get the dirt so you can sift it. We have found coins in every dump that we have sifted.
Who knows what would turn up. Put the screened dirt in your garden or something.
