went to the beach last night and found LOVE....

Hit another down town Chicago Beach last night from 10:30 to 1. got the usual about 50 or so coins then I got a can signal and out pops this beauty!
BLING!!!!
18K white gold with 27 diamonds. I'm at the firehouse today so in the morning i'll get the weight.

15 minutes later I got this ring.

14K white gold about a .20 ct stone with 2 smaller Sapphires.

I use a MXT on the beach at night, no backlight, just the overhead beach lights. if those are out i have a small head lamp!

I was using the 9.5 in relic mode, disc at 2, gain at +2.

I will be going back to England in March for 1 week and in October for 2 weeks. I tell you if you can save, beg or borrow to get over there, it will be the trip of a lifetime. As long as your going for the "possability" of finding really old and valuable artifacts. Most people do find very nice things, but some just don't walk over it. Everyone will get milled silver, old buttons, lead seals, coppers, misc. metal. Fewer will get hammies, and a lucky few will get gold of some kind.
